About 2227
We are Team 2227, a FIRST Robotics team, from Fridley High School MN! We were founded in 2007, making the 2024 season our 16th year! Team 2227 is made of many creative and hardworking students. We are always welcoming new members, whether they have experience or not! 2227 works as one team, and we enjoy working to together to brainstorm more ideas!
Robotics is held after school Tuesday from 3:00pm-6:00pm, depending on season, during build season we meet on Thursdays after school, and on Saturdays from 10:00am-3:00pm. Not only do we build a robot to compete in FIRST Robotics competitions, but we build leadership, teamwork, business, communication, design, public speaking, programming, industrial safety and other technical skills throughout the whole school year, we even have meetings and skill building during the summer!
We hope to teach new skills, and we would love for others to watch us grow as we work as a team this year! We are filled with excitement and can’t wait for our build to come to life!
